Verizon wanted to show that being a part of its network gave customers more than a better coverage–it also gave them access to better experiences.
As part of our larger Super Bowl activation, we constructed a fake laboratory and asked a handful of lucky fans to try out a new piece of virtual reality technology.
What they didn’t know was that their high tech goggles and gloves were decidedly low-tech toys that we’d purchased at the dollar store. We ran them through a series of tests that asked them to interact with a “virtual” Odell, before asking them to remove the gear and meet their real life hero.
